Legal Framework

Donation Disclaimer

Every contribution to THE SABIL ecosystem supports restoration — of communities, of knowledge, of dignity. This page clarifies the nature of your giving, how it is stewarded, and the legal and ethical framework within which we receive and deploy charitable resources.

01

Nature of Your Contribution

Donations made to THE SABIL, OmniPath, or any affiliated humanitarian initiative are voluntary contributions supporting our mission of holistic restoration — spiritual, psychological, biological, and social. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific campaign, your donation is:

  • Unrestricted, meaning it may be deployed across any division or initiative that furthers our mission
  • Non-refundable, except in cases of proven error, fraud, or unauthorized transaction
  • Not an investment, equity stake, or loan — you receive no ownership interest, financial return, or profit share
  • Not a payment for specific goods or services, unless the campaign explicitly describes a quid pro quo arrangement
  • Subject to the operational discretion of THE SABIL leadership in determining the most impactful use of funds
02

Tax Status & Deductibility

THE SABIL Global Ecosystem and its affiliated divisions operate as mission-driven entities. Tax deductibility of donations depends on your jurisdiction, our registration status in that jurisdiction, and applicable tax law.

Unless we explicitly confirm in writing that a donation qualifies for tax deduction in your specific jurisdiction, you should not assume deductibility. We encourage donors to consult with a tax professional regarding the deductibility of contributions in their local tax framework.

Where tax receipts are available, we will provide them upon request within a reasonable timeframe following donation confirmation. Receipts are generated based on the information provided by the donor at the time of contribution.

03

Financial Stewardship

THE SABIL is committed to transparent and accountable stewardship of all donated resources. Our financial practices include:

  • Segregation of charitable funds from commercial revenue where operationally feasible
  • Internal financial review and reconciliation processes
  • Priority allocation to programmatic activities over administrative overhead
  • Documentation and accountability for fund deployment
  • Periodic public reporting on major initiative outcomes and resource utilization

While we strive for exemplary stewardship, we are a developing organization and our financial reporting infrastructure may not yet meet the standards of large established charities. We are committed to continuous improvement in this area.

04

Specific Campaigns & Restricted Giving

From time to time, THE SABIL may run specific fundraising campaigns with designated purposes — for example, scholarship funds, humanitarian relief projects, infrastructure development, or program sponsorship. When you donate to a specific campaign:

  • Your donation will be prioritized for the stated campaign purpose
  • If the campaign exceeds its goal, surplus funds may be applied to related needs or the broader mission as determined by leadership
  • If the campaign cannot be executed as described, funds will be redirected to the most closely aligned active initiative
  • We will communicate material changes in campaign direction to affected donors where practicable

Restricted giving (where you explicitly require funds to be used exclusively for a narrowly defined purpose) may be accepted on a case-by-case basis through direct arrangement with our team. General donations made through standard channels are treated as unrestricted unless a specific restriction is communicated and acknowledged.

05

Transparency & Reporting

We believe donors deserve to understand how their contributions are used. We commit to the following transparency practices:

  • Annual impact reports summarizing major achievements, resource allocation, and community outcomes
  • Public acknowledgment of major donors (with consent) and recognition of collective contribution totals
  • Responsive communication to donor inquiries about fund use
  • Honest reporting when initiatives fall short of goals, encounter obstacles, or require redirection

We do not guarantee that every donated dollar will produce a specific, measurable outcome. Humanitarian work, education, and community development are complex endeavors affected by circumstances beyond our control. We commit to deploying resources wisely, not to promising outcomes we cannot ensure.

06

Limitation of Liability

THE SABIL disclaims all liability for any financial loss, tax consequence, or other adverse outcome arising from your donation. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Currency fluctuation losses for international donations
  • Payment processing errors or delays
  • Tax disallowance of claimed deductions
  • Dissatisfaction with how funds are deployed
  • Operational failures or changes in campaign scope

By making a donation, you acknowledge that charitable giving involves inherent uncertainty and you release THE SABIL from claims arising from the stewardship decisions we make in good faith pursuit of our mission.
